About Piff the Magic Dragon
Piff the Magic Dragon — real name John van der Put — built the character in London comedy clubs, broke through on America's Got Talent in 2015, and opened a Las Vegas residency at the Flamingo that same year. The act combines close-up and stage magic with deadpan British stand-up delivered in a sequined dragon costume. His chihuahua, Mr. Piffles, is featured throughout the show and is arguably the second-billed performer. The material rotates: Piff runs different sets in different seasons, so repeat visitors aren't seeing the same show. 75 minutes, no intermission. Venue has evolved over the residency — currently at the Flamingo Showroom. Best for adults and older kids; younger audiences sometimes find the tone too dry.
