Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 15, 2026

VisitLasVegas.city is committed to making our Las Vegas travel guide usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That means the site should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for the widest possible range of users, including those using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, reduced-motion settings, and high-contrast modes.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with proper landmark roles and headings.
  • Descriptive alt text on content images.
  • A skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users.
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and UI components.
  • Hero animations honor the prefers-reduced-motion user setting.
  • Breadcrumbs use semantic <nav>/<ol>/<li> markup with aria-current.
  • Forms include labels, autocomplete hints, and proper input types for assistive technology.

Known limitations

We are a small team working continuously to improve accessibility. Some third-party widgets (for example, GetYourGuide and Viator tour embeds) are outside our direct control and may not fully meet WCAG requirements.
