About Picasso
Picasso at Bellagio opened with the resort in 1998 under Basque chef Julian Serrano, who held the kitchen through 2018. The room's gimmick is genuine: Steve Wynn installed eleven original Pablo Picasso paintings and ceramics in the dining room, a collection valued around $50 million and among the most expensive art installations in any commercial restaurant. The restaurant runs a prix-fixe and tasting-menu format only, with a Mediterranean-leaning bistrosophistication. The outdoor patio — Bellagio's only lake-facing restaurant terrace — books months in advance for fountain-side tables during peak season. Two Michelin stars (held since 2008). Dress code enforced; no denim or athletic wear. Dark Tuesday and Wednesday.
