About Sahara Las Vegas
Sahara Las Vegas reopened under its original 1952 name in 2019 after the SLS experiment (2014–2019) was wound down. The 60,000-sq-ft casino runs three connected pits across the Casbar, Marrakech, and Oasis lounges, giving the floor a segmented layout distinct from the typical open Strip floor plan. William Hill runs the sportsbook (under the Caesars Sportsbook umbrella post-acquisition, but branded separately here). Poker room reopened in 2022 with 6–8 active tables on busy nights. Slot mix weighted toward higher-denomination reels and a locals-friendly video poker section. Independent rewards program (Club Sahara) — not tied to Caesars or MGM. Direct access to Sahara Avenue Monorail station. The 2028-opening Fontainebleau and Resorts World are Sahara's closest North Strip neighbors.
