About Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs

Floyd Lamb Park occupies the site of the Tule Springs Ranch, a 1930s dude ranch that hosted Hollywood guests waiting out Nevada's six-week residency requirement for divorce. The original adobe buildings still stand near the entrance, restored as the Tule Springs Historic Site. Four spring-fed ponds dot the 680-acre park, surrounded by old cottonwoods that produce some of the best shade in the valley. Catch-and-release fishing is allowed with a Nevada license, and free-roaming peacocks have been part of the property since the ranch days. $6 vehicle entry. Open daily. About 25 minutes northwest of the Strip — close to the Centennial Hills neighborhood and a logical stop on the way to or from Mount Charleston.
