About Treasure Island
Treasure Island opened in 1993 as part of Steve Wynn's Mirage expansion and was spun off to Phil Ruffin in 2009, making it one of the few independently owned Strip casinos. Ruffin has operated it without franchise rebranding since, in contrast to most Strip peers now consolidated under MGM or Caesars. The 95,000-square-foot casino floor runs a value-oriented mix — lower table minimums than Wynn next door, no resort-scale spa or celebrity-chef footprint, but a well-regarded sportsbook and a long-running Mystère Cirque du Soleil residency in the property's main theater. TI Rewards is independent from MGM and Caesars programs. The property is connected to Fashion Show Mall via a pedestrian bridge, making it the easiest Strip casino to combine with mall shopping.
